WHEN DOES UTK DEBATE MEET?

We meet every Thursday from 8pm-10pm EST in the Humanities and Social Sciences Building at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

I HAVE NO DEBATE EXPERIENCE. CAN I STILL JOIN?

Of course! We have no requirement for previous debate experience.

I'M REALLY BUSY AND AM NOT SURE IF I CAN MAKE IT TO TOURNAMENTS. CAN I STILL JOIN UTK DEBATE?

Absolutely! We do not have any mandatory tournament attendance requirements. You can simply join us each Thursday in the HSS!

WILL UTK DEBATE HAVE AN INTEREST MEETING FOR POTENTIAL NEW MEMBERS?

Yes, we will! We conduct one interest meeting each semester, in August and in January. We have free food, free drinks, and we conduct a mock debate at each interest meeting. Email at utkdebateteam@gmail.com for more information.
